Last year at Longview, we had something really exciting happen.  We were able to purchase a classroom set of ukuleles!  This year, students in fifth grade will be learning the basics of ukulele including strumming patterns, TAB notation, and some beginner chords.  This will result in students learning some well known children's songs and maybe even a few pop tunes!   Stay tuned to this site for more information on practice sites, and what we are working on in class.
